1. Feeling the "pain" all roots from thinking of the person. Make up your mind. Try to find other activities where you could devote your pastime to avoid being stuck on one corner.

2. Give both of you some space. Don't even try to call that person or text him/her. It just deepens the pain and increases the regrets you have.

3. Try to give more priority to your studies and your favorite stuffs than involve yourself in any other serious relationship.

4. If the pain really leaves you thunderbolt to your conscience, try to relate the experience to a trusted friend in order to alleviate the pain.

5. Don't forget to ask helpful advice to elders who may have passed the same experience for you to be aware next time.

6. If hatred to the opposite sex seem to surpass your kind emotions, please do not close your heart especially to good friends. Perhaps one of them might be the person you've been waiting for.

7. Keep precious things that would make you remember the person like valentine gifts, cards, letters, photos, hankies and others. You may let a close friend of yours keep it to ensure your own "safety".

8. After having done everything you could to forget,if you can't..don't! (or at least don't force yourself to do something you just can't bring yourself to do so.)You'll only end up feeling hatred for that person. Never close doors, keep the love if you've "let go" of the person... who knows, he/she might just come back, and if not, have faith that someone
better'll come your way. It may not be now, but in God's time you'll be happy (and much more in love!) again
