When do we say CALLED? / :confused1: When do we say NAMED?
Oh dear, oh dear! :caged:
You see when you mention the name of someone or something, you usually use (be) CALLED.
e.g. His friend is called Mae.
One of his subjects is called Pentateuch.
(be) NAMED, on the other hand, is less common and is used mainly with PEOPLE.
e.g. A German lady (who is) named Daniela met me at the reception.
