Aloha!! I'm new here.. Just wanted to say hi to everybody and maybe introduce myself for a bit.
I'm a freelance writer and I spend most of my time online. Maybe this site could be an oasis for me. An escape from work..
Anybody who's doing article writing job for website content,, copywriting maybe?
I'm not really into the stuff but heck,, it's earning dollars for me. so I guess I can live with it.

how you landed in this job?
My aunt and cousin are doing the same thing.. i went on and jump in. you can look for the same writing jobs on the Internet. There are tons of sites looking for freelance writers. you only need to bid and create impressive sample articles. then, you can win writing projects.. try rentacoder.com. it's the only site i've used so far. I've won regular clients already. that's why I don't use the sites much. but there are tons of them..

I'm already earning from it--in dollar currency. if you are hardworking, there is big potential in the job. Too bad US dollar value has fallen. :(

You can start by registering in the site. then they will send you newsletters and invitations to bid.

Hi there!
When bidding, make sure you have a winning point. Keep in mind that other writers will be bidding too. So be ready with your sample articles. Make your articles informative, interesting and easy to read. You don't have to talk about complex issues. You will be writing mostly for commercial websites, so skip political topics (or anything of the sort).
Also, look for projects that offer long term employment. And bid with lower prices. Make your service impressive and they are likely to hire you for more projects, without the mediation of rentacoder (without their commission too!).
And choose paypal for the mode of payment. It's very convenient!

Yeah I got paid for the articles that I submitted. Got commended by the NGO Director for my article on alcoholism. Too bad, they're now resorting to lifting articles form the internet because of financial constraints.

we have the same job. lol. ^__^ it sucks sometimes though, especially if it is work for hire because you can't actually own stuff you write. i work for 2 companies. too bad i'm not earning in dollars. maybe i can try your site some time. but just like you, i can live with this job. i work to get paid and i discover brand new stuff simultaneously. it's the best it can offer me. =D

hello guys. i want to share with you my part-time job. no big hassles or requirements whatsoever! you just have to be proficient in the English language which i assume you all are because you're here in English-coffee. ^________^

give it a shot. you'll have endless resources online and offline. no worries. ^_______^ at least you can practice your writing skills. it's fun to do this because you earn and learn at the same time.

This time, however, I have accepted an editing job of about 237 pages ( It's actually life story of a founder, patron saint of an Italian Catholic congregation). it depends on your employer. my regular employer pays me every two weeks. the other one, right after i submit my articles (through paypal). if you get projects through rentacoder, you can choose between the 15th and the 30th..
keep searching online.. there are tons of projects offered in different sites..
