tis a game we played back in college in the logbooks of one of my orgs. it's basically a story continuation. some of you must've played this, but for those unfamiliar, i'll post the rules.
1. rules of the forum above all.
2. one should post a continuation of the story from where the last post ended.
3. one cannot post consecutively: you can only post again after there are at least three (3) posters after your last post.
4. please use italics and in different color in your rengga so we can tell whether you're commenting or continuing the story.
5. original works please!
well, that's all i can think of for now. if there are things that would come up, we'll talk about it.
it's fun, and since there are different writers, i wonder how the story will turn out!
right, so i'd like to take this opportunity to begin:
Words are spewn forth from his mouth. Words that are otherwise taken for blasphemy and curses, but instead they were drank - inhaled - by the mob that gathered. The mob's ears were funnels, stretching to catch every word. But the mob wasn't really listening. There were only few words that registered in each of the sorry excuses for brains of the individuals present. These were "unity", and "strength", and "force", and "labor" and others.
But it was alright for the speaker. The mob doesn't really need to understand, it only has to be ignited. Like an engine of a war machine doomed to self destruction, one only has to press the right buttons and it will zoom (or crawl, but preferably the former) to the target and blow up.
He continued to speak: the tension kept on building. Soon, he thought, it will reach critical mass and we can storm the enemy. My enemy. These buffoons will be none wiser after I'm through with them.
Suddenly a loud explosion was heard outside, causing everybody to stop. Arms hung in mid air, mouths left gaping without speech, heads turned to the door.
"Right on time," the speaker said under his breath.
