Hi! I am an English as Second Language (ESL) Teacher and Teacher Trainer.
I have been teaching English for eleven years to mostly foreign missionary students who come here to learn English as a springboard to learning the local languages they will be immersed in their future ministry.
I have trained teachers in enhancing their pronunciation and phonetic skills in order to be a more effective teacher. Concepts in language teaching and learning were also a couple of my topics in the training-seminar I have done in Christian Language Study Center.
I am currently connected with the Loyola School of Theology, where I teach Expository Writing and Research I and II.

Cheers to all! :rolleyes1:

Hiya ychelz!

It has been a pleasure!

Yes, English may tend to be difficult at times, but I am glad that in spite of that you still find it interesting.

All the best to you!

Cheers,
Cathy :drummer:

hi to everyone here, :itshere:

just got registered. m trying to find my way around the site. i found some interesting postings and exchanges. m a training consultant. had my esl training at de la salle. im into creative communications, strategic planning and team building, among others. perhaps we can join forces in coming up with an english decathlon, patterned after the American Decathlon. its been in my project notebook for quite sometime. hopefully, we can come up with a team to plan and organize this event.

we can also offer an english on site for foreign students in the philippines. it is a mobile english communications program. language learning and travelling in one. koreans will be an intersting group.

interested? let us explore these 2 projects. let us invite others for a meeting and brainstorm.

Oh I see! Is this a pool of teachers? This site is very interesting! Before, I was a bit hesitant because English can make or break you at some point. Though I'm a teacher we never really implemented the Speak-English policy in our school before. Now I have a tutorial center and this site is very useful at the same time very entertaining. I'm open to suggestions, if I have incorrect grammar in my posts you can make suggestions. There's a lot of space for improvement. Nice meeting you! :newbie:

:thankyou: I admire your openness! ^^

The site is open to everyone, but for sure, there are a good number of teachers around, and every day, we keep discovering a new one.

Nice meeting you and all the best to you and your tutorial center.
