"Here are 25 words with a twist. The last four letters of each word form the first four letters of the following word. Definitions are given for each word (British English spelling is used throughout)."
1. Get ready (7 letters)
2. Mother or father (6 letters)
3. Not owning; paying for accommodation by making regular payments to a landlord (one word, 6 letters)
4. Give a slight colour to (One Word, 5 letters)
5. To eat or swallow (One Word, 6 letters)
6. A non-verbal expression of feeling (One Word, 7 letters)
7. A container (for soup etc.) (One Word, 6 letters)
8. A repeat performance, or a re-staging of an historical event (One Word, 11 letters or hyphenated 2-9, either is accepted)
9. An entertainer who "reads" minds (One Word, 9 letters)
10. Lacking in energy (One Word, 8 letters)
11. Reduces or diminishes (One Word, 7 letters)
12. Becoming aware of (One Word, 7 letters)
