My Joining experience is......

A bit out of nowhere...
I've been seeing this english-coffee banner ad in sulit but have not bothered to click... thinking it was just another forum....
I wouldn't want to waste anymore time posting in such forums...
but here am I....

I considered joining because I worked in a Call center before...ICT Marikina! (for half a year)
from there I've worked here as a Systems Analyst/Programmer/TechSupport for almost 9 months now.... and of course we use english... this is an american owned/managed office... though its a small home office I really am enjoying my stay here... We are serving american clients by hosting applications, and other terminal services and stuff...

I also provide occassional techsupport to those directly involved in what I am doing... example my program has a bug...

so basically I still need phone skills...
english communication - both speaking and writing are essential to me right now....
so I think this might be a great practice...

And last....
I think of this as an english training necessity - so that I have a reason If my boss catches me... hehe

was just walking along that incredibly narrow passage for a commercial establishment we call SC (shopping center) in UP when i saw this poster taped on one of the glass windows in a stall there. so i thought why not join? maybe i can hone my english skills (or lack thereof) at that forum.

from there, i made it from an ultragreen n00b to a rockstar member in about a week. i had my share of ruckus, too, which you, jason, have experienced first hand LOL

so what brings me here, is at first, the trivia. which at first was like a waterfall of brain racking, then slowed down to a trickle, then, ultimately, gone. what keeps me going back for more is the hope that someone out there, sometime soon, will bring back the trivia. and post a rengga (yes, you! i mean you! if you dont know what that is, search for it in the forum.) and of course the people here are very nice, but that goes without saying.

nope, i havent gone to an eb yet, i joined later. i want to meet racz_jay25, smiling, and handing me my brand new ASUS lamborghini vx2 laptop in black. yes, racz, i mean you.handing.me.my.brand.new.ASUS.Lamborghini.VX2. don't worry, i'll sing of praises that will reach the heavens in eternal gratitude.until the next model comes. LOL

of course i also want to meet the rest of the gang. there you have it.

cmo saw my email in www.gov.ph (http://www.gov.ph).. He sent an email and invited me here.. Without a second thought, I joined..

I have so many reasons why I keep on coming back.. First, I wanna improve my knowledge in the language..Second, I like exchanging ideas with some of the members.. I like sharing what I know and knowing what I don't.. I like to stay in this site during my vacant time but I can't help myself in opening even during class hours.. I find this site addictive..hahaha..

I was a good girl 'til a member named patis ruined my life..I received my first warning because of him..LOL.. Seriously, I'm happy to be a member of this site..

People here are also nice.. ctivnan, cmo and q_sharon to name a few..patis, you're also nice (sometimes in ym..hahaha)...I also want to know other members...

I haven't been to eb but I'm planning to attend as soon as I get home... I want to meet everyone..

For me, it's better to be a member of a site like this (a new one).. You have the chance to know all the members and witness how the site grows..
