Yes, I believe you when you say Arabic is kinda hard because I have a sister married to an Egyptian and it is taking her a long time to learn it. When they are in Egypt and she has to answer the door, she would just say bokra, bokra 'cause she couldn't understand a word the person on the door was saying. Am I right, that it means tomorrow?
That's the word I seem to remember that my sister said when she told me this story a long time ago...
Don't you find it confusing to be learning two languages at a time?
I had Spanish during my college days and I am sort of trying to learn it again. But really, it is so hard to learn a second language.
I am just grateful I know how to speak English and know a lot of its vocabulary. hahaha

There is a site www.mangolanguages.com that offers free tutorials on certain languages. I think Japanese is one of them. Nihongo is Japanese? Anyway, Try to look into it.

Even if you are not staying for long in this country,I think it might come into good use in the future if you try to be fluent. If you know Arabic, then it would be easy for you to go around Arab countries. I believe French is mostly used in Europe and Canada.
And since you learned Nihongo I think you have the talent to easily learn languages. Hehe Not that you have to believe me. The mother in me just comes out naturally.:LOVE0052:

Hello racz,
There is a site www.mangolanguages.com that offers free tutorials on certain languages. I think Japanese is one of them. Nihongo is Japanese? Anyway, Try to look into it.

Even if you are not staying for long in this country,I think it might come into good use in the future if you try to be fluent. If you know Arabic, then it would be easy for you to go around Arab countries. I believe French is mostly used in Europe and Canada.
And since you learned Nihongo I think you have the talent to easily learn languages. Hehe Not that you have to believe me. The mother in me just comes out naturally.:LOVE0052:

Maybe because I read in some of your post about your son's achievements and it reminds me of my father. I miss him so much. When I was a kid, I want him to be proud of me. I want him to feel how I love him.

I know he was proud of me and he felt that I love him but you know it's really different if your father is with you while you're receiving your diploma, having your first job, etc.. huhu.. kinda emotional right now. Can't still accept that he left us when we were young. It's been 10 years and the memories are still fresh.

I called mine a blinkie. Be not afraid of them, mitchiecruz. They're harmless. See how they filed down their otherwise pointy rays to rounded stubs so they won't hurt anyone? Let me tell you a story of how they came to be.

Anyway, this land was populated with sun-like creatures that flash their lights whenever they are excited or happy. Then one day an evil creature from the darkest recesses of the universe became so jealous of the light that it came in and destroyed their home. Millions of the peace-loving creatures died and their home became obliterated. But all is not lost. There were few who escaped and traveled the universe aimlessly searching for a new home to lick their wounds and start anew.

It was then that ctivnan noticed these delightful beings and told them, "Greetings of peace! I am Cathy of the free people of the earth and I welcome you to our wonderful planet." At first these creatures were hesitant but ctivnan proved to be a kind and gentle host so they agreed to live here, brightening up the world and thriving happily ever after.

(Actually the conversation most likely went thusly: "What cute little things! I can use them as badges for English-Coffee.com." But we know legends have to be wonderful lest they be scrapped as just ramblings of a drunken man, so...)

And that is how they came to English-Coffee. They didn't have a name back then, so I took the liberty to name what I got as "Blinkies." We had a good time together, them blinkies and I, until I got them traded for medals of bravery for killing vampires and other evil creatures of the night. But that's another story.

step 1. Bemoan your fate, but don't curse the gods.
step 2. After you've consumed two boxes of Kleenex, search your computer for that blasted netgear.
step 3. Click around and look for a list that says blocked websites. Or you can post a screenshot (in case you don't know how, follow these substeps) so more can help you get your highscores back (hmn, on second thought, maybe not?).

step 3a. With netgear open and the list of blocked websites on screen, press Alt+Print Screen on your keyboard (some put in Prnt Scr, but it does the same thing. It's located near the F12 button, but if you're on a lappy it could be somewhere else.)
step 3b. Go to MS Paint, and press ctrl+v.
step 3c. Save the screenshot and post it here.
step 3d. Wait for replies.

step 4. Look for the button that says unblock this website.
step 5. Check to see if it works. If not, go to step 3a. If it does, proceed to step 6.
step 6. Praise the gods. Get your highscores back.
step 7. When somebody steals your highscores (e.g. iyotoko, kai28, patis, etc.) bemoan your fate, but do not curse the gods.
