women needs to open their mouth so that they can breath in,they are afraid to breath using the nose because the air from the nose can dry out the mascara easily...

just a wild guess :D

Here's a guess...

Women put on mascara with their mouth open because they wanna stretch out their eyes... :emoticon-7: How can you ever put a mascara on eyes as these?

you see, my dear fellow coffeer, i have had the luxury of putting on mascara for just few isolated occasions. and i didn't do it myself. it was either a makeup artist doing it for me or one of my kikay daughters who were more particular about my looks more than me. with my mouth agape while having this mascara applied to my eyelashes was something that never caught my attention. thanks, however, for the information.

here's my two cents:

it requires focus to put on this make up (not that ive put some on). when watching tv, some of us get too absorbed on the show. i think it requires conscious effort to keep your mouth closed, and since the activity demands your full attention, the effort required to maintain composure and daintiness is pretty much transfered to putting on a nice make up (or understanding why on earth mr big broke up with sarah jessica parker. no, i dont watch sex and the city, was just forced to do so. really.)
thanks for the heads up, i never really gazed and wondered at women putting on make up!
