It will be nice to share where to find out free wifi/hot spots or at least the affordable ones while having coffee or snack.

Like FIGARO, for any order, you can get 1 hour free access to the internet.

I learned that on Sundays, FIGARO has free internet the whole day if you order anything above P200.

Last Sunday I made use of 6 hours of internet in Figaro while having snacks and other downloads.

Add ons: :drum2:

Figaro Commonwealth has a free WI-FI (airborneaccess) connection from 10 am to 3 pm from Mondays to Saturdays. On Sundays they have free WI-FI all day.

In Figaro Commonwealth, FREE WI-FI means not having to order a 200-peso worth of drinks and snacks. You can just order less than P200 and you get an hour's FREE WI-FI. It's on an hourly basis, so before your connection expires, you've got to get another set of username and password. Isn't that such a sweet deal? :loool:

Now, for the time other than indicated above, you have got to order at least a P200.00 worth of drinks and snacks in order to avail of the free WI-FI. I am not so sure whether you need to order another P200 worth of goodies or just buy another hour of WI-FI connection if you want to extend.

I guess the freebies are not applicable to all Figaro branches because in Figaro Brickwalk, Sta. Lucia, you've got to spend two hundred pesos before you can get an hour's free every time plus they don't have free all-day connection on Sundays! In addition, you can't even buy a card!!! What a disappointment!

Any FREE hot spot in Starbucks?

I think for Starbucks it would depend on the area. The one in Commonwealth, Katipunan, West Avenue, and Timog do not provide any free WI-FI. You have to buy a card which can be P100 or a P300 card (airborne or globe). I suggest you get a P300 card because it is cheaper in the end as you get 5 hours for P60 an hour. Plus the card is valid for use in a month's time, so you don't really have to stay and finish up your hours. :c_o_o_l:

In Greenbelt, it is free. Check out airborneaccess' website for hot spots and for free WI-FI. http://www.airboneaccess.net (http://www.airboneaccess.net/)

:yey: Is the internet access instant or we have to get a kind of connection code/password from them?

At Krispy Kreme and Gateway Mall I was able to get WiFi access instantly, at Power Plant you have to register by downloading the Wigo Toolbar but it's still free.

If you live near UP, you should check out The Coffee Library on Maginhawa Street in UP Teacher's Village, QC.

The coffee is great and there's this cool collection of board games and books, too.
I think you may need to add around 60-70 bucks to get WiFi access there.
I hope this helps although it's not exactly free and I'm not sure if it's a WiFi hot spot.
