If you know a selection of common word partnerships or collocations (words that typically go together), you will find it easier to write letters and e-mails. Here, we present 7 of 14 key verbs from the area of customer relations, together with some of the nouns and noun phrases they are typically used with.

accept an apology / accept an offer
- Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay.
- We would like t accept your excellent offer.

appreciate your concern / appreciate your custom
- We appreciate your concern regarding the delay.
- We appreciate your custom.

arrange a meeting / arrange a bank transfer / arrange shipment
- Could we arrange a meeting next week?
- Please send us your account number, so that we can arrange a bank transfer.
- We can arrange shipment of the goods this week.

attend a meeting / attend to business / attend to a problem
- I will attend the meeting on Monday.
- We have to attend to some business in Rome next week.
- Could you attend to this problem immediately, please?

confirm receipt / confirm a time
- We wish to confirm receipt of your order.
- Could you confirm the time of delivery, please?

make a decision / make a complaint
- Our team will make a decision tomorrow.
- We would like to make a formal complaint.

meet a deadline / meet a delivery date / meet expectations
- If you are able to meet the deadline, we will increase our next order.
- Will you be able to meet this delivery date?
- We are sorry to inform you that the products did not meet our expectations.
