I'd love to, if I can. But I'm at my parents' right now, which is like 4.5 hours from here to Manila by public transport. So I don't know if I'd be able to arrive on time. Thanks, though, I truly appreciate it. :D

Wow! That's really not far, is it? :lol:

You're welcome to join any time you can. :smilie3:

So are you having the long weekend vacation at your parents'?

I don't know if this qualifies as vacation, but I sure hope it to be. LOL

Here's an advise from an old man. Change is what you need to break your monotonous existence and the more drastic the more effective. If you're married divorce. If you're single marry. Ooops do I hear howls of protests. Of course I'm just joking. A long vacation in an unfamiliar place is more likely or perhaps a physical transformation like turning into soy sauce or a sinamak from being a patis. Imagine yourself coming into the office completely different from what they have been accustomed. Isn't that fun? Another way of breaking your monotony is to get out at night, go to a bar and introduce yourself as a different person to people you'll meet. He can be your alter ego or the person you've always dream to be. It's actually a case of living a double life and I think it can be exciting like being a double agent for CIA. These are only my advise and I am not holding myself responsible for any adverse result. Take it or leave it.

[1] LOL.
[2] Well, I'm quite comfortable with being a patis, thank you so much. But i appreciate it just the same.
[3] I hope you don't mean lying.

I see your point altogether, though. Doing something different ought to make it. Thanks a lot!

1. What's LOL? I'm reading it everywhere and I have no idea what it means.
3. I don't mean lying just role playing in real life or something like pulling one's leg or living one's fantasy. It's just for fun and you must not have bad intentions.

LOL = Laugh/Laughing Out Loud

LOL, yeah,I got that that part. It's quasi-lying. Yep, that could be pretty interesting. Have you done it yet?

Now it's all clear to me. I thought it is the contraction for 'ULOL' which are sometimes used without really meaning it.
I have not done it yet but when I go home for good I'm planning to live a secret life as a 'Taxi Driver' a la Robert de Niro. Isn't it exciting to ply the streets of Manila at the most unholy hours and pick up all sort of passengers possibly holduppers too.There's excitement even in danger. More on double life and alter egos, our superheroes do it with good intentions. Remember Clark of Superman, Peter of Spiderman, Narda of Darna, Zorro and many more.
One last advise if you're really bored with your monotonous existence: TRY FALLING IN LOVE! Remember Richard Gere in Pretty Woman, he was rich and bored and Julia Roberts changed his life.

Fall in love, LOL. I've been there and done that. But being a cab driver is a great idea! Maybe I should do that now. Hmn, you really piqued my interest there.

However, I am still in need of a quick fix. LOL
