In this thread I invite you to ask anything, I mean anything* at all. We'll all pool our brains and try to answer these questions. Answers may not be guaranteed, however, but we'll all try our best.







*-forum rules apply. Of course there are specific sections for some of your queries, but I'm taking the liberty in making this thread the place where you can ask your other-worldly questions. By "other-worldly" I mean those which doesn't seem to fit in the presently available sections. You might also want to think of this thread as that limbo for your questions awaiting being categorized into their respective sections. Ahh, the products of boredom. LOL

To get things rolling, let me ask this:

The process in which a liquid turns to gas is evaporation. A solid turning to gas without passing the liquid state is sublimating. What do you call a gas directly freezing into solid without condensing into liquid first?
