I am always using 'looking forward to' but I don't know the rules behind it. It's just that I always read about it and must have picked the habit from there.
I've got the same reason with pinoypower. Are there any rules about it ctivnan?
:thankyou:

There are some rules to this. :music-smiley-7524:
"Look forward" is an expression followed by the preposition "to."
e.g.
I am looking forward to the game.
("to" is followed by a noun: the game)
I am looking forward to playing this Sunday.
("to" is once again followed by a noun: playing)
(Playing is a noun in gerund form.)
Hope it helps! :there:
