im having a little problem teaching my son how to really read.
he knows the sound of each letter but has difficulties putting them together.
can anyone help me on how do i teach him the basics?
maybe if you have sites where i can download phonics exercises..
it would be very much appreciated.
thank you so much.

Here's a practical advice which I found was very effective. Buy loads of Sesame Streets, Barney and other children's DVD and let your son watch them daily. I used this with my children and now they are both on top of their English classes and with my son even topping the English Achievement Test given randomly in 102 countries around the world.

you can buy from national book store (any branches) "Straight Talk About Reading". I bought mine years ago at 455 ph.p .
you may also use any search engines- just type free download phonics exercises.
much better type download phonics songs - kids learn anything faster (and with so much fun) through songs...
good luck!
