If you can read this. you have a strange mind too. Can you read this ? Only 55 people out of 100 can.
i could not believe that I could actually understand what I was reading. The phenomenal power of the human mind, according to a research at Cambridge university, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be
in the right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole. amazing uhh ? yeah and I always thought spelling was important! if you can read this forward it.

cool
nice topic

Hmmm.... I wonder if it is really just 55 people...

The jumbled up words in the paragraph were used as an example by Cambridge University researchers to illustrate the validity of the whole language approach to teaching reading. The argument was, as already stated above, that the mind sees words in chunks rather than as separate letters. Therefore, it might be more effective to teach children to read by presenting words to them in whole units rather than by sound.

When I got the jumbled up words in my e-mail in 2003, I forwarded it to my students and they were all able to read it! Such is the power of the humand mind!
