MEMORANDA IS or MEMORANDA ARE?
Memoranda are since the word memoranda is the plural form of the Latin-derived English word memorandum.
According to Mark Davidson, author of the Dictionary of Today's American English Usage: Right, Wrong, and Risky; the anglicized plural of memorandum is memorandums which is prescribed by stylebooks of the Associated press, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
So, memo away! :coy:
