Summer is not yet near, but having ice-cream is one thing I like! I notice though that there are SHERBERTS and SHERBETS.
Now, are they different or similar? :D
Here's the deal... I did some digging and this is what I've found out:
This frozen mixture of fruit milk, and egg-white is what we call SHERBET.
SHERBERT is considered a mispronunciation and a misspelling of sherbet.
The term entered English in the 17th century, from an Ottoman Turkish word for "cold fruit drink."
