ARE YOU A BRANDILOQUENT?
by C. Elster
Words that seem generic but are still trade names, and capitalized:
The owners of this word want you to say "photocopy" instead.
Does anyone really call this product "facial tissue"?
You can put it on a cut, on a scrape, or on diplomacy.
They clean ears and a lot of things, too.
Bill Cosby was a pitch man for this rubbery snack.
It took the skate out of roller skate.
It's the sport officially called "table tennis."
The plastic packing bubbles that replaced excelsior.
In the summer, kids love to lick this sweet, fruit-flavored, frozen treat.
It's sticky on one side and smooth on the other.Have fun, Coffeers! :hihihi:
