I am curious as to which is the grammatically correct form of the popular idiom(Is it an idiom?):
'Curiousity kills the cat.':kitty1: :ontherun: :flea:
I think it should be 'Curiousity killed the cat.' but I often read the one in the present tense.
Which do you think is correct?

Your curiosity has brought the cat out of the bag!
It's "Curiosity killed the cat." :blackcat:
Like you, I also hear "kills" instead of "killed," but it should be the latter. :kitty1:

Thanks for satisfying my curiousity!
I'm glad I'm not a cat because I would have been dead by now even if I have nine lives. LBM:happy0088:
