RE: Additional Marketing staff

We would like to inform that due to large demand on sales, we need to add more marketing staff in our front line.

Please consider hiring at least 10 good and experienced sales executives as soon as possible.

For your appropriate action.

Thanks.

Important Points to Remember

• Use the following structure to begin a memo:

MEMO
Date:
From: (person or group sending the memo)
To: (person or group to whom the memo is addressed)
RE: (the subject of the memo, this should be in bold)

• The term "memorandum" can be used instead of "memo".
• A memo is generally not as formal as a written letter. However, it is certainly not as informal as a personal letter.
• The tone of a memo is generally friendly as it is a communication between colleagues.
• Keep the memo concise and to the point.
• If necessary, introduce the reason for the memo with a short paragraph.
• Use bullet points to explain the most important steps in a process.
• Use a short thank you to finish the memo. This need not be as formal as in a written letter.
• Should be initialed/signed by the sender/writer
• Usually it's made in 2 copies; the extra copy is used as receiving copy that should be initialled/signed by the recipient or secretary.

The best practice is to look into how your company makes use of memos but basically, the pattern above is generally accepted.

hmm i wonder when will i write memos and stuffs...

I want to be a boss someday....

Reminder:
Memorandum here and the US is not always perceived to be the same:
PHIL = Memo, Command, something to make you jump out the window, BIG DEAL
US = Warning, Notice, Need, NOT A BIG DEAL

That is the perfect example for Business memo.I appreciate your thought for providing the example over here. The points which we should take in mind while writing the Memo are listed below:
1.Subject should be written cleanly and to the point.
2.First paragraph and the fist sentence need to explain the reason for the memo.
3.Second paragraph is going to be the news of the memo.
