Today, I just finished preparing my things as I'm about to go with my batchmates to my designated area somewhere in the parish of Our Lady of Remedies in Malate for my 3-week urban poor exposure. I don't know yet who will be my foster family but one thing's for sure: the home I'll stay won't be exactly the same as my home, the food won't be the same food I eat usually, and the neighborhood I'll be going into won't be the same peaceful neighborhood I grew up in my place. I guess I'll pray always that I'll be in His Good Handds during my sojourn with my foster family despite the fear, anxiety, and feelings of uncertainty I have now. Anyway, I'm always ready to accept any challenge that comes along the way, even if it means putting my character and my self to the test.

kell, good luck in your Urban Poor Exposure! My prayers go with you.

After the 3-week exposure, you may be able to appreciate many things in your life that you've taken for granted before. You may also see the simple joys of these less-fortunate family and their neighbors.

I hope you will share with us your experiences.

:hey: :okay: :prayer:

Good luck kell. That's quite a feat, that one that you're doing now. I admire you so. I don't know if I can live that long with a foster family without getting homesick each and every night. I pray for your strength. Take good care.

:summer::summer::summer: is almost over.
