Erap Estrada, former president of the Philippines recently convicted for plunder cases, has been pardoned by Pres. Gloria Arroyo as an astonishing surprise to the whole nation.

Any explanation behind this move?

i am not pro/anti Erap/GMA but in my own opinion this is unfair with other inmates.

Definitely it's unfair to those languishing in jail; she knows that! But why did she do it? Was it an act of desperation?

Well, obviously... GMA did that to fool again the people...most probably there's a political motive behind that.

Nothing is impossible with GMA....but i hope...justice would still prevail
