This is a video my beginner intermediate class made. I found the story on the internet. The students studied the timeline of the story and drew pictures of the scenes. After taking pictures of the scenes with my digital camera, each student read the lines for 1 or 2 of the characters as I recorded their voices with my media player. Then I put the pictures and voices together on my computer using Windows Movie Editor. We watched the video in class which made everyone proud and I emailed them all a copy.
Group projects such as these are great for building bonds in the classroom. If the students love you, they will follow you. When you have the love and respect of your students, teaching them is a walk in the park.
