UAAP season unfolds

Another exciting UAAP season marking it's 71st year unfolds today at the Araneta Coliseum.
How I wish I am there to cheer for my favorite teams. I will be reserving my loudest cheers tomorrow when ADMU Blue Eagles square it off with fierce rival DLSU Green Archers. I will also be roaring and growling when the NU Bulldogs meet the UP Maroons.

But not for long! I'm healed and my heart jumps out for joy seeing my son ecstatic over the Blue Eagles' victory against their perennial rivals, the Green Archers.:superhappy:

It's just for fun but it's nice to be associated with winners directly or indirectly. It's that reflected glory mentality which is human nature.

Next year I hope my Alma mater will fare better with no less than new owner Henry Sy promising a "new breed of Bulldogs with new attitude".

@ayeehphot: Congrats to your UP PEP Squad.:applaud: The cheering squad competition has evolved into an interesting and lively rivalry by itself. My son was a member of Ateneo's Blue Babble Battalion and I remember him attending each and every game of Ateneo with his aftergame mood dependent on the result of the each game.

As for the league itself, it's not over yet and I expect La Salle to win the next twice to beat incentive and ultimately the final slot.:c_o_o_l: Do I hear Maria_maria shouting a big Yeahh!!!?

The dream match is casted. Ateneo clinched the other final slot by beating UE, 70 - 50.
After two or three games one of us will be like this: :superhappy: and the other like this: :intears:.
