"The Tagalog term 'tampo' has no English equivalent. 'Magtampo' is usually translated as 'to sulk', but it does not quite mean that. i cannot quite come up with an exact translation to the phrase cause it doesn't feel right to use the exact translation to the word "tampo" which is sulk, but when I feel that way towards someone I know, I normally say to them:

"You're not my friend at this moment in time" or "I'm not best pleased with you right now." something like that.

It's kinda cute though when I'm asked, "What's going on with you?".

I'd say, "Can't you see? I'm sulking here because of you!"

It feels like I'm in a television drama :D

hehehe! yeah you seem to be into dramas. :WINKING: i know that sulk got many ways of translating it. well, time for me to sulk now. hahahaha! :laugh1: but i realized this as well, "to sulk or sulk" is a translation to the tagalog word magmukmok. hehehe! confusing but a good way to learn words as well.

Yes i agree with you perpleybutterfly... "to sulk or sulk" is a translation to the tagalog word magmukmok.

So for me "me tampo ako sayo" would be more like i have ill feelings towards you or i feel bad towards you. :WINKING:
