I'm not even sure if I used the right term, but I guess this is where the fun starts. ^^

Besides, our definitions of the term "weird" may vary, so feel free to share the weirdest job you think you've ever come across.

Let me start with mine.
"Entertainment Transcriptionist"

I'd decided to call myself an "entertainment transcriptionist" since the work I once had involved providing transcripts for videos and audio files. This means we watch the video or listen to the audio and produce as accurately as possible the written version of the spoken dialogues (at times, describe certain types of background noise) in the clip. The transcripts or subtitles, as most people know it, were meant for the hearing-impaired in the US. Yes, it was one of those outsourced businesses.

One of our clients involved the "white bunny". Imagine, then, what kind of videos I had to transcribe back in those days. ^^ You name it, I've seen it all.
(I hope the EC admin wouldn't have to censor this one.)

Now, I guess you can infer why this job was, in some respects, the weirdest for me.

Yes,I do agree with you. I just wonder how in the world you were able to survive this job especially if you have to watch morally unacceptable videos/"highly artistic" audio files. By the way, what's your current work? I am sure it's a lot different. :wub1:
