EFL/ESL teachers can come from all walks of life. I'd like to dedicate this thread to getting to know our teachers in this forum.
How did you become an EFL/ESL
teacher?
I'll start:
When I graduated from college I started to prepare for the foreign service officers exam. I needed a job that would leave me enough time for my studies so I decided to try teaching college English part-time. Well, I got hooked and eventually was convinced by my higher-ups to take my M.A. in English Language Education. And this, a teacher, is what I've been ever since. Plans for the future include taking my PhD.
