Yeah! Let's support Filipino products which are in no way inferior to imported ones. Let's shed that colonial mentality that imported goods are better.
Here in Bahrain, Arabs and other nationalities are starting to buy Filipino food products which used to be consumed by the Filipinos alone. Chippy, Skyflakes, Magnolia Ice Cream, Lucky Me Noodles, Ligo Sardines, Purefoods Corned Beef and Hotdogs, Mama Sita's food products, Splash cosmetics, Cebu's dried mangoes and furnitures and many other products are fast becoming highly in demand. Of course, the Philippine bananas and pineapples are still the list toppers but it's nice to know that our exports are increasingly being diversified.
Buy Filipino anywhere you are and support our economy!:first:

This is a good idea of helping the country's economy, even on a small-scale basis, our own little way. I don't go for imported products either except for, forgive me, Nina Ricci perfume. That's the only imported thing I buy. When I came back to Korea in August, my luggage was heavy with Philippine stuff, from tuna to soap and even Chocnut. I even wanted to bring in some dried fish, longganisang Lucban and sinigang mix, but I ran short of time shopping around. Buy Filipino was former Pres. Carlos P. Garcia's best legacy.. :FLOWER:
