In learning a language, particularly spoken, we not only focus on the accuracy (how accurate we produce the individual sounds in a word or group of words) but also on the fluency (how we connect individual sounds in words, phrases, and in sentences). The study of suprasegmentals gives us a view of the rhythm of a language and how one may differentiate the function of a certain word in the context it is used.

I have attached the lecture on suprasegmentals dealing with a few aspects:
1. Stress
2. Linking
3. Assimilation
4. Intonation

I hope this helps! ^^ Enjoy! :groove: :coffeedrink:
