hi everyone.

got a question for all the call center agents/csr people out there. what is the range of the starting salary of call center agents/csr?

i have no call center experience but my previous work experience suits that of a call center. i have held supervisory and managerial positions before and i have an extensive background in customer service and sales which prestigious companies. i have passed the final interviews and evaluations of two different call center companies but i did not push through with my employment because my asking salary is too high. one call center even said that even if they give the maximum salary that they give to new call center agents, it is still significantly lowered than my expected salary. now, i have asked these companies to divulge their starting salary but they didn't give it which i understand.

thanks for those who will reply.

cheers!!!

Hi allen I'm not a call center agent but would like to know one thing before I could give a comment on this. Do you have an experience in closing a sale through a simple phone call? It's a lot different than making sales one on one, a bit harder too. Since you have to convince a person who haven't even met you in person.

yes i agree with you miss neyz, because most of my friends resigned with that kind of job. being a call center agent is really taught but other says it pays off.

depends on the complexity/nature of the account, but applicants with no call center experience get around P10K to P18K as base pay

I would like to call the attention of an_lauren, bugoy26, inindix and allen1109. Please observe forum rules on capitalization , punctuation and grammar.

Please don't get offended but as an English language forum we should try to set good examples especially those who want to work in call centers.

I also make mistakes from time to time but I am continously learning and trying to improve.

Again, please don't feel bad. I'm just doing my job as moderator.:emoticon-5:
