View Full Version : NEW POSTS ON TOP or at the BOTTOM - YES OR NO?

If you have noticed, the new posts in our forum are always on top. I seldom see this kind of format in other forums.

We need to know which format is more convenient: new post on top or at the bottom of the thread?

In my case I prefer the last post on top because when we open a thread it always go to the first page regardless if you are following the thread from the beginning when the thread is already very long with many pages.

The downside could be reading the post "upside down" and I don't know how others would feel about it.

in my case, i prefer to see the new post at the bottom of the the new posts...since, almost all of the members are new,they need to know first the old posts so that they are properly guided as to what this site is all about....and what had been discussed before.

nah... Up / Down it doesn’t matter with me. But I prefer the last post on top. :D

Its better for the new post stands at the bottom... for easy track....

Hey now, :hey:

I think it's working fine as it is. Start at the original post, then read what others said, then post....Or, just click on the "go to last post" icon to be taken to the newest post.....

for me its better if the new posts are on top.

this is because there are times, we havent logged in for few days and there is a tendency for us to comment or reply on old threads.

it may seem useless.
