Broken English is not fluency. It has many grammar mistakes or ideas in the wrong places or sometimes it very difficult for the listener to understand what you are trying to say. It is good to hear your own voice.
Here’s a good example of grammar mistakes from one of my many students. “I to shopping yesterday. I clothes. I and my mother bought a shoes on 10 half ”.

I know you learned grammar, word lists, correct pronunciation, present and past tense. Did your ESL teacher train your mind to be fluent and to avoid broken English? The first part of fluency is the basic building block. (a) the subject (b) the verb (c) the object
The building block is the base for English fluency. This is where you must pay attention. It is also important to learn that the subject must follow the verb then the object. If you are serious about wanting to speak English fluently you first must learn the sentence structure.
It does not help you to improve your fluency skills when your teacher often corrected your grammar mistakes or helped to make your sentences. Your teacher is doing all the hard work for you. This is wrong! Your mind is not getting trained and you are not learning English fluency at all. Your English will always be poor.
POOR ENGLISH IS BROKEN ENGLISH
