The Hitman lived up to his name. He hit the canvass late in Round 1 and finally sleeping in Round 2. The fight was shortlived but Filipinos all over the world will be savoring the victory for a long long time.
Manny Pacquiao has once again proven that he is the best pound for pound fighter in the world. Before the fight I had predicted that Manny will win in the early rounds on account of his speed which I likened to an ace in tennis. I said that Hatton will not see the booming serve of Manny had it been in tennis. That exactly happened when the pride of Manchester did not see Manny's KO punch coming.
Congratulations to Manny Pacquiao. In the end it's the hard work, discipline and dedication which proved superior. Of course Manny's prayers and that of Aling Dionisia mattered most.

Thanks for the fresh news. We are at home so busy with our baby and myself with work and no much time to even watch TV lately.

This is also one singular moment when Filipinos can be united in a spirit of national worth and pride. Filipinos from all walks of life feel so proud about the win. Hurray for the unbeatable Pacman who never forgets to fold his hands in prayer before releasing those deadly southpaw punches.

When CMO and I were on our way to Trinoma, there weren't many cars outside. It seems that many of our countrymen are at home or somewhere celebrating this sweet victory.
:wowie: Pacquiao is simply phenomenal! :yey:
Congratulations Pacquiao!

There's no doubt that Manny Pacquiao has the power to unite and inspire the filipino people. I just hope that when he call on our people for unity, there must be a sense of purpose and not just an empty call. What I mean is to be united in what? At least he should have some sort of advocacy like fighting corruption, or a movement to get the first Philippine gold with his support or to fight poverty or anything else so that his victory will not be in vain.:emoticon-6:
