View Full Version : nascar
does anyone out there a nascar junkie? I'm a roush team fan, beting my ass every race to carl edwards and matt kensette. I used to like Mark martin but after he left the roush team? I don't know. I mean don't get me wrong, he's a good driver but not to me if he's not in that blue oval car. He's doing good for himself driving the chevy but he was great with the blue viagra car. (lol must be the pill hahahahahha.) Goodluck martin, but go edwards go!:happy0141:

I am not really a fan yet and I was wondering what the mechanics of the race is?
what you mean mechanics of the race? Theres so many things going on in Nascar.. pit stop, race strategy, fuel mileage, drivers state of mind, track condition and the list goes on and on. The thing about it? is the rush of adrenaline. Hearing those cars zoom for the checkered flag is like waiting for a man to propose hahahaha. Seriously, it's a great sports to watch, even better to go watch it live. OH MY GOD!

From what I understand, it is basically similar to an F1 race, which I watch. It's just that I don't know why they have to do 200 or so laps. What I find interesting is the driver's condition to do so many of those laps and still remain focused in the race.
I'll watch a race and see how it is. :bounce:
drivers have to stay focus during the whole race. condition are changing as you know with tire pressure ,track condition and so on.And that's the thing I like about Nascar. one other thing i like about nascar is the big fast tracks and the way the cars can draft. And YES! the team work.... you can never imagine having those guys work together at 200 mph at an inches apart. WOW.
