"Whenever I watch 'one liter of tears', I begin to see new things, I learn to appreciate every little thing that I can do whenever I desire to do it, that whenever I am hurt, someone is in much greater pain than what I am enduring, that simple things mean a lot, that time is very precious, that hope is a thread that stands between life and death, that meaning sustain one individual to continue living and that gradually will be in constant battle with meaningless until we emerge from our hopelessness and helplessness or the other way, to give up, and to totally shut down, that everything matters or that nothing really matters. That life is as simple as complex as complex is as simple as the way we see or define it."

"Sometimes, I go crazy too, I sometimes feel helpless and hopeless at times, times when I don't understand why things go this way, as if nothing that we do is prospering or even improving, sometimes, I can't see God's hands, I sometimes doubt, honestly, if ever did really God cares all along, there would not be prayers with a big answer of God's SILENCE. Where is God when it hurts, yet while experiencing those things, even until now, I began to look at Job's life and Jesus himself, then I start to learn how God face trials with us. .....many things I've learned, anywhere, anyhow, from the house of mirth to mourning and so I learn that the greatest lesson in life, we really owe it to the sad times."

These are some of the text messages I received from one of my best guy buddies last night. We were talking about his father. He may be remembering him a lot right now since next Sunday will be Father's day. The Almighty one put his father at rest last November. I can sense how sad and grievious he is through the messages that he sent me. I tried my best to be a comfort to him and it's absolutely not easy since I don't know how he feels. He had learned a lot from his sadness. He was a totally different person from the one I had met on my first year in high school. I know that God would never leave him nor forsake him. I posted this message to remind everybody that we ought to treasure our fathers while they're still here on earth. And in doing so, we also should remember to give glory to the greatest among all the fathers, the one who is in heaven..
