some uncommon one-syllable verbs to live by:
1. tout - praise highly
2. cull - choose /Latin colligere , to collect
3. vet - carefully examine or check for accuracy
as, Experts vet road maps and atlases before they're published.
4. mulct - deprive, usually by fraud or deceit
5. rail - to cruticize with harsh or abusive language
6. flout -to disregard with contemptuous scorn
7. tweak - to pinch or pull, also to fine-tune

7. tweak - to pinch or pull, also to fine-tune


I'm very familiar with "TWEAK" because in computer, network, servers, there are lots of "tweaking" setup, configurations, etc.

Also in Pocket PC/Windows Mobile, there is a lot of tweaking in order to maximize performance, memory, and stability.
