How fast do a hummingbird’s wings beat?
Faster than we can see, hummingbirds, the smallest feathered creatures on the planet, are also the fastest wing-beaters. The beating is so speedy it looks like a blur. With a slow motion camera, it can almost be counted -50 to 75 beats per second! Hummingbirds can even fly backwards, something no other bird can do.
the helicopter's flight capacities are similar to the hummingbird's: hover, forward, backward. i dont know about lifting vertically, though.
Humming birds are amazing...
I just watched them on National Geographic...
They're so wonderfull..
though they move so fast, its still a melody for me...
and they also have sweet tooths - like bees, and butterflies
tiny flyers are so wonderful

im hoping you're not including roaches, mosquitoes, flies and their ilk in your list...
haha.. but they are amazing arent they?
Ive watched some people how they took care of their pet cockroaches...

hmn, if read at the speed a hummingbird flutters its wings, it would sound "banooks".
no, not really. it would be more like a buzzing sound. hooray for thinking out loud!
