Well, I'm doing chores and errands regularly on a Saturday since we are only a handful in our home and I can't pass it up. I can be free on Sundays. What do you think, Sir CMO?

If on Sundays, I would prefer in the morning, not too early, 9-10am to 12noon. But let's see some of your available time. We can always adjust. :friendz:

Sunday morning between 9am to 12pm is fine by me.

Of course, I will teach you some of the basics that I have known, but I'm no qualified teacher. i can share with you the things I have been taught by individuals far more better than me. I'm only an occasional player.:perspiring:

Let's finalize the schedule, then. Which Sunday are we going to start to play? What time will we rent for the court? And who are confirmed to go and play?

No, Ma'am. It's not a tournament. It's just a small gathering of people who want to play badminton and learn how to play correctly. If this goes well and many members attend, it will be a regular play date for us.

i suggest, the sooner the better....for those who have confirmed, please make sure that you can make it...otherwise, the first event for english coffee members won't be successful..i think Sunday 10-12nn is the best time...so we can have a lunch together after playing...

From Mr. Ponji's suggestion, I contacted Sheridan Badminton just now (Thanks, Mr. Ponji!). I found out that on Saturday and Sunday mornings (6:30am - 530pm), they charge the taraflex courts with P50 per head. NO CHARGE FOR THE COURTS! We can reserve a time a few days before, and just pay P50/person, and we can start to play na! I will go to Sheridan court sometime soon to verify the court condition and the location. They said they are located across Unilab, which only past Metro Badminton.

What do you think, folks?

Jut an update, guys. I went to Sheridan Badminton and it look good. They have good facilities and good courts. I suggest we start with there and try Metro Badminton next week. I have been informed by one of the staff there that Metro might be only open up to March this year.

Yes, from Boni tunnel, you will pass by Metro first. Then turn left at sheridan street, and just go straight.

I will provide pictures which I took from the court.

ctivnan and I visited Sheridan Badminton today and liked it! We saw your reservation for English Coffee from 9:30am to 11:30am. :thanks: for that!

ctivnan just posted in another thread some details of the place and how to get there by commuting/public transportation. You may post the flyer and other shots of the venue here.

To post images:

1) When you reply the post or create a new thread, down below go to upload attachment. Once the attachment is uploaded, right click the location of the image in the site and copy the image location.

2) Then, in the body of the post, click on the icon "Insert Image" and when a small box pops up, past the link of the image you copied before.

3) Do the steps 1 and 2 for more images.

4) the rest of the procedure is the same for posting.
