Are there any English words containing the same letter three times in a row?

The usual rules of English spelling outlaw triple letters. Hyphens are inserted into words such as bee-eater, bell-like, chaff-flower, cretaceo-oolitic, cross-section, egg-glass, joss-stick, off-flavour, hostess-ship, puff-fish, toll-lodge, and zoo-organic.

A person who flees is a fleer, and a person who sees is a seer (though to avoid confusion with seer meaning `foreteller', the forms see-er and seeër have been used).

Nevertheless, we have encountered curious forms such as crosssection, and the complete Oxford English Dictionary does contain instances of frillless, bossship, countessship, duchessship, governessship, and princessship, and the county name Rossshire.

Graphic representations of noises, such as brrr, shhh, and zzz, do not really count as proper words.

The only other word with a triple letter is the invented word Amerikkkan, which is intended to symbolize the racist aspect of American society by including the initials of the Ku Klux Klan.

there is one. it's "bookkeeper". that's the only one, actually.

edit: whoa, im wrong. my "bookkeeper" should be in the subject that goes three sets of double letters in a row. anyways, that's the only word in english that has that.

now for three letters....

got curious so i surfed the net and found this info::itshere:

Doubled and tripled and quadrupled letters
Esssse, a spelling used for the word ash in a 14th-century text, has four of the same letter in sequence and is cited in the second edition of the OED.[2] A number of English words have three of the same letter in sequence, but almost all are constructions involving a suffix, and could arguably be hyphenated or, in some cases, written as two words. They include brasssmith, goddessship, headmistressship, wallless (lacking walls), and bulllike (like a bull). The OED contains the word frillless. In some fabrication plants, scrap is called offfall, though the hyphen is nearly universal. This suggests that similar material could be described as offfalllike.

Other candidates are the archaic agreeeth (third person singular present tense of the verb to agree), and tweeer (comparative adjective of the qualifier twee meaning infantilely kitsch), though comparison to freer and seer argues against the third e. The use of tree as a transitive verb meaning "to drive up a tree" makes the dog the tree-er and the cat the tree-ee. There are also many possessives ending in -ss's (e.g. actress's).
