This is about sending private messages to birthday celebrators..

English-coffee has now 230+registered members and everytime someone is celebrating her/his birthday, other members will greet her/him.. If we will greet this person thru threads, I am sure that some of them won't read it coz they are no longer active..

My suggestion is,
Everytime someone is celebrating her/his birthday, we will send a private message. I think, if you receive private message, it will be send to your email. We will mention in that message that she/he is receiving greetings from other members in this site..After receiving messages, that member might look at the threads and who knows that this person will add to number of addicted posters here

Hey racz, thanks for the suggestion but we have already installed modules to greet the birthday celebrants both thru tread and PM. Messages thru PM are also forwarded to their respective email addresses.

The greeting thru PM is still being tested and we are not 100% sure if it is really working or not. We will need feedback from members regarding this!

Let's see if ctivnan received her greeting thru PM!

It's ok :thanks:. We really need suggestions and we can do many things in the site yet.

We also have a module that sends email to those inactive members. A member is considered inactive after a month.
