Honestly, I always say :thankyou: for both. I believe that misfortune happens because there's a reason for it. Sometimes, this misfortune will help us to realize or to learn something. When I was younger, I always say why? for misfortune but I couldn't find an answer until many good fortunes happened to me. One example is when my father died when I was 13years old. At that young age, I learned so many things. Many good things happened too. Some of these are I earned a degree thru the help of so many people (see, I didn't know 'bout these people when my father was alive), my brother became active in church and planning to enter a seminary, and my other siblings are striving harder to graduate in college.

I love my father. In fact, he's the greatest father for me and it wasn't easy to accept his death.

I'm being emotional right now but I wanna say that before I go to bed, I always say thank you to Him for everything that happened to me everyday (even it's bad) bad and at the end of my prayer I always say "Your will be done".

Try to do this and you can accept everything (even it's misfortune or good fortune) that will happen to you.

Being guilty only means that you realize what you're doing or what you did.. It's better than not guilty at all (except for court trial of course..hehe)

I believe all of us have asked this question a million times. It's natural. This just proves that there are a lot of things in life that we don't understand and that we need His guidance to help us understand it. He's the one who knows everything so, no need to hesitate in asking Him questions. In time, He'll give us the answers. I believe it's His way to make us come to HIM.

We all have to be thankful for every thing HE is giving us, good or not too good. :happy0088:
