oh my teary eyes,
feint a million smiles,
my weary,weary soul,
brightens like a child,
refuge in the mind,
the slow clocks second hand,
tears that calm the night,
yet it hurts to cry,
death stands by my side,
like a track coach with the time,
do you ever live?
or are we just relying?
steps I take to fail,
to find my holy grail,
men weren't meant to fly,
we'd wither in the air,
I've got teary eyes,
they lay on my bed and dry,
they slowly get up and then hop back in my eyes,
echoes for miles wide,
