"kilig: is truly a Filipino jargon that can't be described in simple English words; depicting various intensity of feelings...

Pinoypower, your original explanation to your daughter is inaccurate. It should be "the feeling during or after you urgently piss", you know the body shake, that's kilig.

I vote for "giddy!" Hahaha! I also needed this before, because I couldn't ask my student properly how she reacts whenever she sees her crush. I looked it up and I really think the better translation of the word, "kilig" in English is giddy.

I would say "shivering" is other term for "kilig"
